Is Bury's secret sauce really secret?

| | Comments (0)

Cheryl, peanut44@cox.net, writing from Arizona wondered whether the recipe for the secret sauce associated with Bury's hamburgers was, in fact, secret ... .

"There was a receipe that was from the Bury's famous burger's that told how to make the sauce. Can't find on line any more. Could you find it and e-mail this to me?" she wrote.

As outlined in a recent post, I posed the question about the availability of the recipe to a server at Johnny Eagles' York Fair stand where the burgers were sold.

The answer was an immediate no.

If anyone has the recipe, please comment.

(Subsquently, the recipe was revealed, as described at: Bury's secret recipe revealed.
